I really needed to get a new mattress for my son’s bed, but we just haven’t been able to swing it yet. So I decided to try this 2 inch memory foam topper and see if it would help.
I meant to order a Full size, and ended up with a Queen instead. I contemplated returning it, but it was just too much trouble to ship that huge box back and go through all of that. I set it aside thinking I’d put it on my bed, but with my wrist injured, I couldn’t do it on my own.
My son was coming home for the weekend, and so I decided to have my daughter help me put it on his bed so he could use it over the weekend. I’m glad we set it out a week ahead of time. You really need to let these air up for a couple of days to get the full effect. Once we did that, I just put his mattress pad and bottom sheet on, even though it was the wrong size. It was a tight fit to get the extra padding folded down into the sheet, but we did it.
The side still sticks out a little, but it was good enough to make it work. I didn’t tell him to see if he’d notice. He did! He was really surprised but super happy. It made his old worn out mattress much more comfortable. If you put this on a good mattress to begin with it would be amazing. I was going to cut off the extra, but I think I will leave it the way it is!
