Our son is living in an apartment on campus this year, and is cooking his own meals more frequently than in the past. We had given him some reusable plastic dishes, but after you microwave queso in them a few times, they really aren’t worth saving.
I was contemplating getting him more of the inexpensive plastic bowls, but he said that he really didn’t want them, as when he cooks, he makes enough for two meals, and then just puts the leftovers on a plate so it would all be together instead of in separate containers.
When I got these 3 compartment meal prep containers and took them to him, he was really surprised. He said they were exactly what he needed. He can put them in the dishwasher and microwave, and because they are very inexpensive, he can just recycle them if they start to show signs of wear from microwaving foods.
These have made a college boy’s live much easier.
