These bags are fantastic! It’s great being able to take a huge stack of blankets and quilts, and reduce them to a fraction of their size. We live in an older house in the country, and when the wind blows, it gets cold. We also have the power go out occasionally when there are storms, and it pays to be ready. Because we have a partially finished basement, it’s just easier to keep all the extra blankets down there. But they would get that musty, dusty smell to them that would make them hard for me to use, even if you had them in a storage tote. 
These bags are my answer! We are taking all of the blankets and sleeping bags that we have down there and washing and drying them to make sure there are no spiders and get rid of the basement smell. Then we are going to pack them into these extra large space saver bags and throw a dryer sheet in for good measure. When the grandkids come to visit, or when those storms hit, we will be ready with fresh clean blankets - all we have to do is open the bags. And when we are done, we can reuse the bags to store them away for the next storm.
I really wish I had tried these earlier - they are a great idea!
