My daughter got me a mirror similar to this one when my youngest grandbaby was born,

because she frequently came home with me.  Having a mirror to see your little ones and let them see you is so convenient when they are in a rear-facing carseat.  This one is very well made, and is really easy to set up.  It’s adjustable too, so you can get the right view for you and your baby.  We ended up moving our mirror every time we switched drivers, so easy to adjust is a very important factor to consider.

My sister is expecting her first grandbaby, and I was going to get my niece one of these mirrors.  One of my son’s friends is expecting also, and we wanted to give her one for her baby shower.  I was trying to decide which ones to get, and getting this one as a gift from amzassist.com made it easy!

What a great gift. This is a really nice belt that any guy can wear with pride.  It's genuine leather - real cowhide - not the PU Leather that so many try to pass off as “leather”.

The buckle comes with a protective covering so it won't arrive all scratched up.  My guys liked the fact that it will fit a variety of jeans or slacks no matter what the fit because of the ratchet type buckle.  And it's super easy to let it out a little after those big holiday dinners we have coming up.

I just upgraded mine and my son’s phones and I always keep a good screen protector on my iPhone. No way was I going to take a chance of getting either one of our brand new iPhone 7 pluses, scratched or worse, broken.

Like most others it comes with the requisite supplies- wet and dry wipes, etc.  There weren't any instructions, but we've used enough of them that we really didn't need them.

The timing couldn't have been more perfect. This one came the day before my son’s phone did.  He made a special trip to meet his dad halfway between home and school to get it and we were able to send the screen protector with the phone.

I was very pleased with the the sound quality from this set of ear buds.  With some you don't get the full tonal quality that you would expect, and that can be disappointing.  The noise cancelling technology does a good job of isolating the music so you can thoroughly enjoy it.

They  are also great for hands-free calling.  Your callers won't know you are using earbuds - they are that clear.   The soft ear buds will fit anyone, and you should be able to get a comfortable fit out of them.  

I really like the flat cable - it makes it easier to keep the cable from getting all tangled up.  If you have the new iPhone 7 or 7 plus, you will need to get an auxiliary adapter, but that's a minor thing.

I wear sandals and flip flops as long as possible in the fall and as early as possible in the spring.  As a result, my feet are extremely exposed to the elements, dry air, etc.  I also have a habit of kicking my shoes off and going barefoot.

This is a great little #auxillary cord.  It's long enough to reach the speaker or car radio and hooks effortlessly to my phone.  I don't have to worry about Bluetooth, I just hook it up and go.  


We spend a lot of time in the car, and also have portable speakers that we are hooking up to all the time.  Not having to rely on Bluetooth is great - especially when your speaker isn't Bluetooth compatible.

I’ve been contemplating doing video reviews, but every time I have tried, they end up blurry and out of focus.  I also have difficulty taking pictures at times, because the angle is completely wrong for what I want to do.

This iPhone tripod was exactly what I needed.  It plugs in easily to my phone.  I have an iPhone 7 Plus, so I wasn’t sure it was going to fit.  I will admit that it’s JUST big enough – if my phone was any bigger I don’t think it wouldn’t work. 

 The little remote works like a charm.  I was surprised at how easy it is to start and stop the videos and how easy it was to take a picture.  I’m still getting the hang of it, and I’ll need to practice.  But hopefully I’ll be making videos very soon.

We are power junkies.  We have to have our devices powered up at all times.  So what do you do if you need to charge your phone but don’t want to be tied to the outlet or car while you do it?  

 

We have several different power banks, but this is the best by far of all we’ve tried so far.  I can charge two different devices at the same time - while they are in my purse or bag!  If you’ve ever wondered why some packages of sync cables have the little 6 or 12 inch cables - this is why.  It has ports for both USB & USB Type C.  The charging port is on the same side as the connector ports, so you have your cables all on the same side.

This is one of the best items I’ve gotten in the last couple of weeks.  I really needed to get a new mattress for my son’s bed, but we just haven’t been able to swing it yet.  So I decided to try this 2 inch memory foam topper and see if it would help.

I meant to order a Full size, and ended up with a Queen instead.  I contemplated returning it, but it was just too much trouble to ship that huge box back and go through all of that.  I set it aside thinking I’d put it on my bed, but with my wrist injured, I couldn’t do it on my own.  

 

My son was coming home for the weekend, and so I decided to have my daughter help me put it on his bed so he could use it over the weekend.  I’m glad we set it out a week ahead of time.  You really need to let these air up for a couple of days to get the full effect.  Once we did that, I just put his mattress pad and bottom sheet on, even though it was the wrong size.  It was a tight fit to get the extra padding folded down into the sheet, but we did it.  

The side still sticks out a little, but it was good enough to make it work.  I didn’t tell him to see if he’d notice.  He did!  He was really surprised but super happy.  It made his old worn out mattress much more comfortable.  If you put this on a good mattress to begin with it would be amazing.  I was going to cut off the extra, but I think I will leave it the way it is!

I am totally enamored with solar string lights.  All kinds – solids and mixed colors, balls & shapes, all of them.  I am planning on putting the best of them outside on my bushes in the front of the house during the holidays this year.  I am so excited for this!  It’s always dark or getting dark when I get home from work in the winter, so all of my solar lights should be on as I come home.  I will be able to see them every day!  I love testing new lights – and was able to test several this week.

I have used a couple of different watermelon cutters, and a lot of them work on the same principle.  What I have found to be the biggest difference in them is that some of them are just a piece of aluminum or metal.  I am the first to admit that a lot of things make my hands ache anymore.  Part of it is just getting older, and part of it is from hereditary arthritis.  This watermelon cutter has a plastic coating around the part that you hold onto.  This makes it much easier for me to use it.  Some of the others felt like they were cutting into my hands, or would put too much pressure against my fingers.  I am on the computer – email and updating records, spreadsheets, etc. all day long – nearly every day – so having my hands hurt more than they do already is not something that I want.  

I got this one to be part of a gift for either my mom or one of my sisters, and they will appreciate the silicone handles as much as I do.  It also has a bonus set of Fruit Scoopers.  There is a melon baller, and a couple of smaller slicers that would work well on cake or melons also.  They would also work great on Avocados too.
