This is a really cool nightlight. You can turn it on constant, or you can use the timer function to set it at 1, 2 or 3 hours. It has several different colors that you can turn the bulb color to - which makes it a great mood lighting lamp too. 
Use it to warmly light a baby’s room, or use to put a light in the hallway that will go out by itself. There’s all kinds of uses for this lamp. It also has a loop you can use to hang it up after it charges. 
Note - The timer light is only clear - the colors are accessed by just turning the wheel when it is on the constant on position. So you cannot have colored light and use the timer too. That is the only thing that can be considered a con. We love this light.
