Where do you look first when you are searching for a gift for that hard to please person, or for the guy (or gal) who “has everything“?

 

Where can you find the best deals when you are looking to buy a new appliance?

 

 And where can you find fun adventure or ideas (with discounts) for your next vacation,

or ways to make a staycation more fun and affordable?

 

For me - Groupon and Groupon’s Coupons is the place to start all of those searches. You can get up to date user recommendations, pricing comparisons, discounts and directions all in the same app. It's user friendly and if you turn on your location services on your phone, it can even find things “near you”.

 

This is so handy, especially when traveling in unfamiliar areas, or when you decide to eat out on the spur of the moment. Or maybe you break a nail while on vacation or your polish flakes off from the beach - where can you get it fixed quickly and affordably before that big dinner tonight?

 

Groupon can tell you.

 

It will even bring up your maps and show you how to get there, or help you call to get an appointment. I used Groupon and Groupon’s Coupons to find some “once in a lifetime” memorabilia for my sports fan daughter and her husband for Christmas gifts when a certain sports team made history last year.

 

Yeah - I know Cubbies gear was everywhere - but NOT the items I bought. You can get great rates on limited availability items that you won't see anywhere else in your area. Especially if you live in Smalltown, USA like I do.

 

I'm an armchair shopper. I have better things to do than spend all day in stores comparing items and prices. I let Groupon and Groupon’s Coupons do that for me! 

Aulker Screen Protectors

We put way too much money into our phones to take a chance of using them even 1 day without having a screen protector on the front.  We buy quality cases, and I always make sure to have extra screen protectors on hand.  Why?  Because if you damage the screen protector, you are going to want to get it replaced right away, just in case you drop your phone again.

These are easy to apply and fit the 7 and 6 both very well.  You get 3 of them in this package, which is a bargain.  The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have the standard wet & dry wipes and the dust removers.  You can make your own by using the same spray and wipes that you use on your classes, or if you don't have those, then just spray a little window cleaner on a soft, lint free towel and clean your screen well.  Then use a piece of scotch tape to pull all the dust off the screen.  Then peel the backing off of the protector, apply it to your phone and lightly press the very middle of the protectors.  I never need the squeegee or credit cards to make them stick - gravity and the nature of the protectors take care of that just fine.  Lastly peel the front off and you are done.

Yolev Double Layer Sports Bras

These are a great set of sports bras in very popular colors.  I purchased these knowing that if I didn’t wear them, that my oldest daughter would. She’s very fond of wearing sports bras on a daily basis - she swears they are more comfortable than a traditional bra.

The colors are very cute, and the double layer razor back design makes them look even more contemporary.  I was impressed at the quality also.  Some are very stiff and hard to get into.  These are soft and stretchy, yet still give adequate support.  

 

I’ll probably give them to her, but only because she will wear them nearly every day!

Like me, you might think that your kids are too old for these … and like me, you might be wrong.  I got these with the intention of saving them for my grandsons.  They arrived the same weekend my 20 year old was home from college.  He and his 23 year old sister decided to talk me into letting them open them and check them out.

Zeagoo Women's Boat Neck & Flared Lacy Tunic Dress

If you are looking for a sweater to wear with a pair of leggings or yoga pants to make a dressy outfit, you will love this one.  The lacy front is a little different from anything I’ve worn before, but by the end of the day I had fell in love with it. The sleeves are the new batwing style, but more tastefully made than some I’ve seen.  

 

I paired it with a pair of black leggings and black booties - and then put a wool scarf over it for a little more warmth (I am always cold!).  Younger wearers might wear it as a dress, but that’s a pretty far stretch for me.  

 

It does run just a tad big, so order the size you would purchase in your local store.  I ordered a Large on this one, but could have easily worn a Medium.

I was super happy to get these HealthyWiser Test Strips.  Even though it past the season that I use them regularly, I will be able to keep them fresh in the airtight container they come in.  The first thing I noticed is that there are separate foil sealed packages INSIDE the bottle.  They will stay much more accurate and there is less chance of getting the unused strips wet or them falling out of the bottle. There are 100 total strips - enough to last all summer!

Keeping our pool water in balance is important to prolong the life of the liner, pump and all the piping, as well as making it a healthier environment for swimming in.  These 9-in-1 water test strips test for total alkalinity, free chlorine, pH, total hardness, total chlorine, cyanuric acid, nitrite, nitrate, and bromine.

Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops

As an allergy/asthma sufferer, I can tell you that sometimes, the right throat drop can mean the difference between coughing all afternoon, and being able to soothe that tickle or sore throat quickly.  

I used to use a couple of well known brand name throat drops, but always hated to buy them, because they take so long to suck them down to nothing.  And if you chew them, well, that kinds defeats the purpose of using them.  With these Pine Brothers Softish drops I can suck on them, bite them a little off and on, and sooth my throat in a matter of minutes, instead of taking much longer to suck on a hard throat lozenge.

We got to try the new flavors - Sugar-Free Wild Cherry and Vitamin C Orange.  I still haven’t been able to decide which is my favorite, because I like them both.  I use them at work when my throat starts getting too dry from running my heater constantly, and from the effects of all of the allergy meds I take.  I also keep a bag in the car, and by my chair at home.  

They are called Softish Throat Drops, because they are just that - softish.  They are not soft enough to just chew, but they are not hard either.  The gum arabic and plant glycerin combine to make a drop that coats your throat to soothe and heal it.  I didn’t expect them to work as well as they do, especially since they do not have all the additional additives and artificial ingredients.  They are gummy and yummy and work really well.

The flavors are great - I usually gravitate to Cherry and Orange flavors anyway, so these would have been my first choices on the store shelf.  Another plus is the fact that they are gluten free (and vegan also).  Gluten seems to be one of the ingredients that several members of my family have an intolerance for.  

 

You can only find these in a few select locations. The Sugar Free Cherry can be purchased at Harris Teeter, Harmon, and ShopRite.  The Vitamin C Orange is available at Kinney Drug.  And you can, of course, find them on their website.

Zeagoo Women's Casual Long Sleeve Solid Shirring Drape Jersey Dolman Tops

I fell in love with this shirt as soon as I put it on.  The style is one I haven’t tried before, but it works very well.  The waist is gathered and draped, and makes your waist look slimmer.  The sleeves and bodice are sized just right to allow for just the right fit for a variety of body types.

It’s stretchy, but not overly so.  The stitching is well done, and I could not find any dings or skipped places.  The material is soft and feels wonderful against your skin.

You can wear this top in cooler weather either alone or with a sweater, or as I chose the day I took the pictures, with a scarf or shawl. It would fit well with a long sleeve sweater or poncho also.  It was very hard to choose between the colors offered, but since I am on a tight budget, I chose blue as it will work with a variety of outfits, from jeans to slacks or skirts.  I’m going to be looking for other items from them - I’m sure they will fit just as nicely.

Ankier 30 oz Tumbler Lids & Handles

This was a super sweet deal.  I got 2 lids and 2 handles for our 30 ounce Tumblers!  They are both made by Ankier and fit all the big brands.  The lids are spill-prouf and has the slider tops so it’s easier to drink from, and keep your coffee hotter.  You can also use the stainless steel straws with these which is awesome too.

 

The handles are very easy to hold, are made with a very ergonomic design and will fit in most car holders.  They fit our tumblers great, and make it easy to take your tumbler with you wherever you go.

Animal Onesie - Bunny Fleece Hood

Cute as a bunny!  This fleece hat is not only warm and cozy, but it’s fun to wear.  I was going to give it to my granddaughter, but I think my daughter would be a little upset with me.  She fell in love with this hat.  In fact - she posted one of the pictures to her friends right after we took them and they wanted to know where she got it!

Hiperspeed Pokemon Throwing Ball - with Pikachu

This is a fun Pokemon toy. The ball has to be held just right to close it up around the Pikachu, and then once you have Pikachu inside, you close the little latch down.

 

But be careful, if you drop the ball (or throw it), the ball opens and Pikachu pops out.  The ball is really cool.  It folds up into a square on it’s own when it is opened (it’s inside out).  My grown up Pokemon boy is going to be surprised when he finds this one!  He may be grown, but he still likes to catch Pokemon!

We always seem to have cables everywhere.  And it’s a real pain to have your phone charger cable slide down off the back of a table when you don’t have it plugged in.  So what do you do?  Well, we solved that problem with these great Vorfreude® Rabbit White Cable Clips.  

 

The package comes with 10 cute little white rabbit ear cable clips.  The detail on the ears was surprising.  In fact, when I suggested that you could color the inside of the ears pink, my daughter took hers and colored all the ears.  I left mine all white.  

 

They have double sided tape already applied to the bottoms, so all you have to do is peel the backing off the tape, and stick them wherever you need them.

Opulent Luxury Cashmere Shawl with Swarovski Crystal

I have never owned a Cashmere shawl before.  This one is extremely soft, and I wouldn’t have ever imagined that wool of any kind could be both lightweight, yet warm.  I wore this to work one day this week with a thin sweater, and it was exactly what I needed to make the outfit warmer, more comfortable and just added an extra pizzazz.  

I chose the Plum With Swarovski Crystal shawl.  I’ve been wearing it like a scarf, but may try wearing it like a shawl the way the model on Amazon wears it.  It’s 100% Cashmere Wool and the Swarovski Crystal in the logo on the lower corner is very cute.  You can wear it with the jewel showing, or if you choose, you can wear it with the jewel hidden.  The fringe is only 4 inches, and the way it’s woven and tied, you don’t have the tangled mess some fringes get.

 

I love my new scarf/shawl and will be wearing it often.
